Woolooware is where I live, so it's the suburb where I can genuinely get to you the fastest — especially in an emergency. When you call at any hour, I'm minutes away rather than across the Shire.
The area has changed significantly with the development along Woolooware Bay. The newer apartment buildings at Woolooware Shores have modern plumbing systems with their own quirks — thermostatic mixing valves, pressure-limiting valves and centralised hot water arrangements that require a different approach to a standard house call. I work regularly in these buildings and understand how they're set up.
Alongside the new development, much of Woolooware still has older housing stock with the original plumbing from the 1960s and 1970s. These homes often have galvanised water supply lines that have corroded internally over time, causing low water pressure or discoloured water. Old hot water systems nearing the end of their lifespan are also common. If you're in one of the older parts of the suburb and starting to notice these issues, it's usually more cost-effective to address them before they fail completely.
Being local also means I'm well-placed to get to Cronulla, Caringbah, Burraneer and Kurnell quickly when needed — those are all regular parts of my run.
Being based in Woolooware means fast access to all surrounding suburbs:
