I'm Rob — a local, licensed plumber based right here in the Sutherland Shire. Available 24/7, free quotes, lifetime labour warranty.
I handle the full range of residential and strata plumbing across Sylvania. Every job comes with a free upfront quote and my lifetime labour warranty.
Sylvania is one of the more established residential suburbs in the northern Shire, bordered by Gymea Bay and Kangaroo Point to the south and west. Much of the housing dates from the 1950s to 1970s, and the older streets — particularly those between the Princes Highway and the Georges River foreshore — still have original clay sewer lines. Root intrusion and cracked joints are a fact of life for older homes here.
The proximity to the Georges River and Gwawley Bay also means soil conditions in Sylvania can be challenging. Ground movement near the water, particularly in low-lying streets, puts stress on older pipe joints over time. I see more pipe-joint failures and slab leaks in waterfront-adjacent streets than further inland — and finding them without a plumber who knows the area can take longer than it should.
The Princes Highway commercial strip through Sylvania Heights brings its own work — grease traps, commercial bathroom fitouts and backflow prevention for food businesses. I service that corridor regularly and I'm familiar with council requirements for commercial plumbing in this area.
I work throughout Sylvania and all the surrounding suburbs:
